Plain and simple: use the site and apps fairly and legally, respect the work, and understand that everything is provided as-is. The full terms are below — please read them.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stephen Dev website, applications, and related services (together, the "Services"), provided by Stephen Dev ("Stephen Dev", "I", "me", or "we"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services. By using the Services you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.
Stephen Dev provides an informational website, published software and applications, and bespoke software development services. The Services may change, be updated, or be discontinued at any time without notice. I do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
I may suspend or terminate access if you breach these rules.
The Services, including all text, design, code, graphics, logos, and the "Stephen Dev" name, are owned by Stephen Dev or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services without prior written permission.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.
Any content you send me — such as messages, briefs, or files — remains yours. By submitting it, you grant me a limited licence to use it only as needed to respond to you and to provide the Services you have requested. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you send.
The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites, tools, and providers (for example, hosting, fonts, or app-store platforms). I am not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Where I provide custom development services, the specific scope, timeline, deliverables, fees, and ownership of work product will be set out in a separate written agreement or statement of work. In the event of a conflict, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms for that project. Nothing on this website is an offer or a binding quote by itself.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or be secure, accurate, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stephen Dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stephen Dev from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or your breach of these Terms.
I may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if I discontinue the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Stephen Dev operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law grants you other rights.
I may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Material changes take effect when posted. By continuing to use the Services after changes are posted, you accept the revised Terms.
